Founded in 1990 in Mordano, in the heart of Bologna’s mechanical engineering district, Tor Meccanica is a consolidated point of reference in industrial production excellence.
With nearly four decades of experience, the company combines a passion for traditional mechanics with the most advanced chip removal technologies, focusing its technical specialization today on the high-value-added segments of aerospace and industrial molds. This manufacturing evolution, supported by rigorous quality control standards, allows us to guarantee highly critical components and customized solutions for the most competitive global markets.
Our mission is to continue to evolve, investing in cutting-edge CNC technologies and metrology control systems that ensure maximum repeatability and the complete absence of non-compliance.
We currently employ 25 people, including 9 indirectly (management, planning, sales, purchasing, administration, metrology, CAD/CAM programming, and communications).
Core Competencies and Materials Specialization
Our technical identity is defined by the ability to manage extreme precision machining on complex materials, where expertise in the super-finishing process makes the difference in terms of performance and reliability.
- Machining of Hardened Steels: We manage critical production cycles ensuring precision tolerances and superior surface finishes, essential for components subject to high mechanical stress.
- Special Alloys and CuBe: We specialize in the machining of Beryllium Copper (CuBe) and other non-ferrous alloys, materials that require specific safety protocols and cutting parameters to preserve their physical and conductive properties.
